Refund and Cancellation

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments, cancellations, rescheduling, and refund requests made through Verbilink Learning Hub (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) via https://www.verbilink.com/ (the “Website”).
By purchasing any of our services, you agree to this Policy.
1. General Policy Statement
We are committed to fair and transparent transactions while protecting the rights of students, parents, teachers (independent contractors), and the Company.
Refunds and cancellations are subject to:

Compliance with this Policy
All refund decisions shall comply with applicable Philippine consumer protection laws.
2. Types of Services Covered
This Policy applies to:

Live one-on-one ESL classes

Group classes

Specialized ESL programs

Pre-recorded or digital courses

Class packages and subscription plans
3. Student-Initiated Cancellations
3.1 Cancellation with Advance Notice
Students may cancel or reschedule a live class at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
If proper notice is given:

The session will be credited back to the student’s account; or
-
The session may be rescheduled without penalty.
3.2 Late Cancellation
If cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class:

The session may be considered completed;
-
The session fee may be forfeited;
-
No refund will be issued.
Exceptions may be granted in cases of verified emergencies at the sole discretion of the Company.
3.3 No-Show Policy
If a student fails to attend a scheduled class without prior notice:

The session will be marked as completed;
-
No refund or credit will be provided.
4. Teacher-Initiated Cancellations
If a teacher (independent contractor) cancels:

The student may reschedule at no cost; or
-
The session will be credited back to the student’s account; or
-
A refund may be issued upon request.
Repeated teacher cancellations will be reviewed internally to maintain service quality.
5. Package Plans and Subscriptions
5.1 Unused Sessions
Refunds for unused sessions in a prepaid package may be requested provided:

The request is made within 7–14 days from purchase; and
-
No more than 50% of sessions have been used.
Approved refunds may be subject to:

Administrative fees
-
Payment gateway processing fees
-
Deduction of sessions already used at regular (non-discounted) rates
5.2 Subscription Plans
For recurring subscriptions:

Users may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle.

Cancellation prevents future charges.

Payments already processed for the current billing period are generally non-refundable.
6. Digital Courses and Downloadable Materials
Due to the nature of digital content:

Once access has been granted or materials downloaded,

Fees are generally non-refundable,
unless required by law or in cases of technical failure preventing access.
7. Promotional Offers and Discounts
Refunds for discounted or promotional packages:

Will be calculated based on the actual discounted price paid;

May be adjusted if cancellation voids promotional eligibility.
Free trial classes are non-refundable.
8. Payment Gateways and Processing Fees
Payments are processed through third-party providers including:

PayPal

Wise

Dragonpay
Refunds will be issued through the original payment method whenever possible.
Please note:

Payment gateway processing fees may be non-refundable.

Refund timelines depend on the policies of the respective payment provider.

The Company is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.
9. Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 15-30 business days from approval.
Actual receipt of funds depends on:

Banking institutions

Payment providers
We reserve the right to request documentation before approving refunds (e.g., proof of emergency).
10. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be granted in cases including but not limited to:

Violation of Terms and Conditions

Abuse of cancellation privileges

Repeated no-shows

Account suspension due to misconduct

Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference after substantial use of services
11. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for failure to provide services due to:

Natural disasters

Power outages

Internet disruptions

Government restrictions

Events beyond reasonable control
In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule sessions.
12. Right to Modify Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date.
Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updated Policy.
